HOW IT USED TO BE

Diana was no stranger to working out. “I used to go to the gym regularly – even under the training of some great trainers though, I never seemed to shift much more weight than 2-3 kg”. As a kid I used to love heading to the beach. But in my thirties, I was never comfortable getting into togs. I loved it when it was cool for a girl to get into boardies because I was tired of wearing my towel all the way to the water’s edge and dropping it at the last minute.

THE TURNING POINT

I had twins at 36 and within a few weeks of breastfeeding my weight really started to drop. Plus I was out walking them every day – so burning a lot of calories. I’d taken some nutritional advice to control endometriosis and the combination of all of this got me to 66kg from 72kg (well actually 90kg at full term with twins!). I started jogging and was feeling good but I couldn’t get below 66kg. Then I damaged my back badly and over the next six months of rehabilitiation, I snuck back up to 75kg. One day I realized I needed to do something serious about losing weight to help my back injury . So, combined with some awesome rehabilitation training with Anna Daniels at JustWorkout – I signed up to do LivFit:Lean (then called Fitness 15).

THE RESULTS

“I realised the significance of my shape and confidence change on a recent family holiday where I felt comfortable in togs at the beach for the first time in a decade! My husband even reckoned I was getting checked out at the pool! That hadn’t happened for awhile!

Diana did LivFit:Lean twice and achieved an 11kg weightloss, considerable muscle tone improvement and has this to say about the journey:
